I've been good man, but very busy. I've been promoted at work, which means some new responsibilities. My company is growing very quickly and we are loaded with contracts to keep us busy well into 2010. Still, I think I'm going to look for something else later this year. Another career change might be in order, and possibly a move. Maybe it's just the winter influence, but I'm thinking we want to live someplace warmer.
Becckie and the kids are good. We recently received a call about a kid in California who is two years old and has never left the hospital due to his medical needs. Because of our history taking care of Gilbert and all of his medical cares, we were asked if we were interested in this case, since they cannot find anyone in-state to look after him. Becckie and I looked into it, and are now pursuing his adoption. We think we would be a good match for him, and now that our own kids are a little older, it seems a good time to bring another child into the family. We find out if we can adopt him on the 8th.
