Recent Prices on 350Z's?

Guys,

I'm on the prowl for a Z and noticed people getting some good prices. I have been able to negotiate down to $23,6xx for a 'Base' trim Z and $24,899 for an 'Enthusiast' model.

I am in Southern California and am wondering what prices people have been able to negotiate these days.

As always, thanks for your help.

if you got them down to that you could probally get it a little lower. Tell them you cant pay more than (enter amount here) per month and they will work with you to get that sell. a friend of mine just got a toyota 4runner for 13 grand. msrp 22 grand.

Right, I'm thinking of trying that. But its hard to gauge the true bottom. The $23,6xx seemed to me to be the lowest they would go, but now I'm seeing that people have gone lower.

Also, I read something about the Consumer Reports method? Any insight?

OP where are u finding these deals from? wat dealerships in SOCAL?

lgear080 Dec 9, 2008 06:27 AM

def post up locations. this is the key right now. locating dealerships
with real inventory. market is crapster. nobody is buying and 370s are
shipping soon. i think that the remaining '08s are going to be dropped
like moldy bread once the 370 is on the lot. be patient. the real "deals"
are just around the corner.

Everyone buys a 350Z for invoice less $500. Haven’t you heard.

Just recently picked up an 08 Base for $23,674, right about where you are at. I think they will still sell for less soon.

+1 I bought an 03 touring because every nissan dealership I went to in Orlando tried to rape me on the price of a new one. I don't think I saw a new one at less then 30k and saw several used ones at 28-30+.

I paid 12,500 for 48k miles and am pretty happy. It sure is a whole lot cheaper and I'm looking foward to spending some of that savings on mods.

Your not going to get much lower. I'd go for the Enthusiast; lots of extra goodies for 1200 bucks.

Just go for it. . . that's a pretty decent price- I checked it out on the CR website also. I went through some serious negotiating and had three dealerships looking for my 08 Touring MT. I can tell you that I got the deal for under 29k fully loaded, to include navigation, aero pkg, cargo pkg., kick plates, etc. The dealer got it right from the ship in Jacksonville and had it transported to Savannah, so when I drove off the lot it only had 20 miles on it. It gets better, they threw in a paint protection pkg., Z "piston head" keychains and a certificate for a top local restaurant as well.

So hold that dealer to the price, make them put it in writing, and tell them what you want.

Congrats on your purchase. At this point in time, I'm still driving around my noisy **** box Civic until around Christmas / end of the month. I think that I may be able to save a few hundred dollars and maybe even bring the Enthusiast into my price range. We'll see what happens...

For now, I can't decide on color. Have it down to Black, White, Silver, Carbon Silver - not in any specific order.

+1. I've seen similar deals on USAA.
