MINI - UPDATE

So we got into the engine bay again yesterday and decided to finish getting the wiring harness out the way and give it a real good cleaning and scrubbing and more cleaning and pressure washing OH and alot more scrubbing...

This is what we started with from the other weekend.

http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...x/IMG_5692.jpg

After getting more of the wiring gathered up and out of there

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...n/IMG_0123.jpg

and after a couple hours of cleaning and degreasing and pressure washing this is what we have.

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...n/IMG_0124.jpg

Should be working on some paint and what not while we gather more parts for our engine and waiting on some parts like engine mounts etc.

Side note - the more i think about all the harness stuff we will have to deal with later the more scared i get. Someone hold me....

Jason333 04-12-2009 10:39 AM

Damn thats looks like a lot of cleaning.
Gj so far guys. I saw that shop when I was getting the stock suspension from Trent. Bad ass work place...

nothix 04-12-2009 11:13 AM

degreaser, plastic and wire brushes, pressure washer
still got a bit to clean, but its all getting painted so...

how do i remove the throttle cable from the firewall? or do i?
also, just paint over the brake lines?

nothix 07-06-2009 06:17 AM
