Saw two Z's yesterday

So I was driving on 185th and I saw a black 350Z roadster and I waved at the dudes when I was turning, they waved back. I wanted to see if the guy who owns the car is on here. It was a very clean black roadster, by far the best looking one i've seen.

Also, I was on highway 26 and this dude in a silverstone 350Z like mine, but totally decked out drove next to me and gave me a thumbs up. He had Californian license plates. Probably in his early 30's.

It was the first time fellow Z drivers waved back to me lol:icon38:

Exactly the reason I stopped waving to other Z drivers unless waved at. Last 50+ times I did it people gave me really dirty looks.

I see more and more Zs but never know if they are on here...
And it is too tiresome reading the "The last final spotted thread..."...
Most of the "spotted" threads end up being 80% Seattle area...

It would make sense to have 2 threads for the majority of spotting going on... 1 for WA and Seattle area, and 1 for OR Portland, Salem area...

How about this thread here becomes the OR spotting thread...
I think Alvin created the final spotting thread before, and that covers mostly WA.

agreed

fun part is getting waved at by ppl who dont drive Z's.

An old couple parked at a handi spot and was just sitting there. I had just finished eating at a restaurant and they just pulled up. I had a smoke and stood there for a few minutes to see if they were going to ding my door. Well, I finished, started walking up and the driver asks "Excuse me, is that a 4 cylinder?, its beautiful honda" I started cracking up

^ lol,
I break my neck to wave/give the thumbs up to fellow Z drivers. I've encountered one ass-hat going 70in a 45... a couple non wavers, and some wavers/nod-returners/thumbs up. Only one G35 coupe owner so far who has returned the gesture.

Forgot to mention in Eastern Wash. I might be the only one on this side of the state :X

I got waved at by some old dude in his S2000 lol

redmike_02 Aug 13, 2007 03:18 PM

Usualy get a wave back from coupe owners but rarly a roadster. They don't seem to care about it.

saw a z coupe crossing cornell this morning at 206th...
looked like he had aftermarket wheels and probably ss or cs

Saw a burgundy Z roadster at bridgeport (a chick). Then I saw a red coupe while I was eating at subway in Wilsonville across the Lamb's Thriftway.

Yeah, I've actually been waved at by a guy in a newer model drop top Corvette as I was cruising down I-5. Dude gave me the thumbs up. Didn't understand that one, but I politely waved back and said "word, homie!" :icon17:

Personally, I don't wave at other Z's. Not that I don't like people, but Z's are just becoming too common. Not to say that it's not a cool car, or that it bothers me. I bought the car because of the car itself. But I'd say that most people I've found driving them could really care less that I also drive one...

I've ended up about the same. If I happen to have a hand on top of the wheel I'll give a little finger wave. But the Z has become common enough it's starting to feel weird. Do Accord drivers wave to each other?:icon17:

I always wave.
I figure there are probably only around 100 Z's in the Portland metro area, and I only come across 1-3 a day if that, so why not wave.

There are like 300,000 Accords around here. :icon8:

Yeah, that might have been a slight exaggeration.:icon38:

I may pass 2-5 a week out by me. Mostly big redneck V8 driver out by me. I always wave to a fellow Z. Women rarly ever wave back. Except this one hot chick with a black roadster she always waves.

sandthepilot Aug 15, 2007 05:55 PM

There are not that many Z's in the Portland Metro area. There use to be, but not anymore. It's like rare if I see a 350Z on the road. I normally see them in Beaverton other than that I do not see them in my area often.

sandthepilot Aug 15, 2007 05:56 PM

I always see hot chicks in G35's :D

There's 4 at my work. Two silver coupes, my black coupe and a black vert. Must be something they put in the water.:icon39:

I saw the hottest chick driving a black Scion XB :P

sandthepilot Aug 20, 2007 12:18 PM

Saw a Sunset Orange at PCC Sylvania coming out of the bookstore as I was going towards it.
