Default I know there's a spotted thread BUT!!!

I've been seeing a lot of Z's lately and no one is showing any love. They either speed off or look straight ahead like if they make eye contact I will devour their soul! Just to name a few a black on what looked like black Emotions and dropped over the Glen Jackson just sped off. Another one was in Gresham I believe last night. Looked like an IF with some young asian guy in it and he looked straight even though I waived a couple times. Is it my breath? Do I need some orbit gum?

Why do you worry so much about having someone wave at you just because they have the same car?

The question is why aren't you

Just kidding. It's like when you're riding and you see someone else riding you give a waive for acknowledgment and I dunno just to be nice

Thank you exactly what I was trying to get across... Why be a *** when someone is just trying to say hi and show some props?

Mainly trying to call these guys out and see if they're on the board. I'm pretty sure the guy with the SB on emotions is on here. I have yet to see one Z owner give any acknowledgement since I've had it.

LOL Corollas. Hey, what's wrong with Corollas they're KOOL.

I understand the waving part, but not everyone views it that way. I think, mostly, it's because there are so many Z's out there (it's not rare). It's better not to worry about it. Funny thing though, today was the first time someone actually waved at me when I was in my Z. And yes, I waved back.

I also had an old man pull next to me on the way home and asked what kind of car I was driving.

As far as bikes, it use to be rare to see bikes on the rode. Now a days, there are quite a bit of riders. So I understand the waving back in the day. I don't believe too many ppl do it while riding up and down during work hours. Mostly during the weekends. I've also learned that if they don't wave back (while on bikes that is), that they are not in tune with others.

The camaraderie between people that ride motorcycles is completely different from people who happen to own the same type of car. Plus, with all the stock Z's and G's you see around these days, I hardly notice them, unless they have some visible mods.

It's because you live in Portland. There are not that many Zs in Portland, much less enthusiasts, then out of the enthusiasts you gotta sort out the ones that are nice enough to wave back. So there you have it, move to Seattle I'll wave at you

I live in Gresham but drive through Portland/Vancouver a lot. We should get a meet started with the Portland members that way we'll know when we see em! I guess the meet will not include Brian (sno) though

if it helps, i never get any waves from other g drivers. they all seem to be old ladies or something. i get a couple looks from z drivers but they usually do a quick glance and turn. i did get a ricer flyby from a white nismo z with gold wheels when i was getting gas last weekend. good job guy, really nice car though.

Side note though we have a Jeep wave that every lifted Jeep does to each other, i guess theres no love for sports cars around here.

i gave up on "the wave" like 3 years ago. just not a thing with z/g drivers i guess. vette drivers have it big time and as long as it is a vette and no matter the year, you will waving your hand off on a sunny day.

I think it might depend on who you're waving at. Most people I see driving Zs are bone stock and aren't really auto enthusiasts. As a result, to them, the Z is just another cool sports car. There is no comradery with these people. I would think the modded cars are the ones more inclined to wave back. By the way, I don't really wave. I throw a peace sign.
