i dunno, it's about as much a problem as any other vented hood
it's not like a bucket of solid water will be dumped on the engine. It'll get the belts possibly a little wet. The sides I'm not worried about. I have so much thermowrapping on parts and wiring anyway

thanks guys, i was going for a cleaner, more conservative look that accents the car's stock look a little - which I think the stock car looks great as is.
Someone mentioned to me that the car looks like a shark - hehe it is gray afterall

thanks, yeah i've had the spoiler now sitting in my garage for like 8 months but wasn't going to put it on until I got my hood which actually took like 8 months to get because the first place I ordered it from was just a horrible company that I think is out of business now called Revolution Motorsports and then said the hood was damaged after waiting like 2 months. So I had to reorder it and after 4 months nothing so I tried to cancel it but the company wouldn't respond so I got my credit card company involved. I reordered it thru Bulletproof automotive and got it with no issues after waiting the estimated 3 months.
my initial plan was to install the spoiler without the stock spoiler, but in real life I didn't think it looked as good. There's also some indents cut out for the stock spoiler to fit into so that would've needed to be fixed along with the two holes patched up on the rear. In the end I thought it looked better with the stock spoiler on and was cheaper to do it that way
