Recently installed this BOV on my Z and a lot of people were interested on how it sounded so heres a video of every angle of the sound I could get... Even me messing with my friends turbo 240sx.

When you vented it to atmosphere you could right?. Unless I have your car mixed up with someone elses. I think my problem with the HKS SSQV is that I have a preconceived hatred of them from all the 4 bangers that use them. Sounds wayyy better on the v6.

I think I like it better than the APS BoV cause you can actually hear it. Never been a big fan of the HKS SSQV, but I know a lot love it.

I'd say in popular opinion you've got one of the nicest sounding Z's

 

I love it.. makes the car sound even meaner.. lets people know.. yeah i got a turbo.. its not just a Z with big rims and body kit.. you want some? nah i didn't think so..

the HKS SSQV has presense.. it lets people know you are there and you mean business...

 

Oh man I miss that. I love the HKS for that reason too doug, everybody, no matter if they were in an EVO, or a Vette, everyone went when they would blow past me egging me on, and then I would pull back up and let is pSSSHHH. It scared quite a few people from playing, if it isnt N/A they didnt want any haha.

 

Talking about that, last night I was out with the Z and this guy in a stock looking STI pulls up next to me and saw my emblem twin turbo Z. He goes "Is that thing really twin turbo.. I saw your emblem" I told him let me show you and I proceeded to build like 5 pounds and let the HKS do the talking lol.. the look on his face was priceless, he's like "No way I'm running you man"

 

I like the TN Raptor and Turbo XS BOV's.....never cared for the HKS, sounds like a mouse under the hood
