because sushi is SO jdm!!!
interest has been expressed by a few people for a sushi meet!
UPDATE:
ok i've decided we're going to bluefish in montrose on SATURDAY MARCH 31, 2007. it's delicious, local, and QUITCHURB!TCHIN!! there's other food besides sushi on the menu! plus, YAY ALCOHOL!
space is limited, however, and i'm not entirely sure they take reservations. i'll call when they're open and ask. the sushi is incredible, up to par with west hollywood/beverly hills sushi restaurants/bars. price isn't cheap but..who wants cheap sushi?! no no.
plenty of parking, as montrose shuts down after 8pm except for the restaurants and bars.
if people want, we can meet a little earlier in the day and go for a little cruise [no, not a run] up angeles crest highway. it's supposed to be nice and clear this weekend, we can enjoy the views.
