Default a thank you to the NY convoy to the CT meet

We would like to thank all of you for letting us (The people in the Envoy) tag along. We had such a blast. You could not wipe off the smile from our faces the whole day. Just watching you guys drive in front of us was enough for my GF to finally fall in love with the Z.
We werent sure, but we believe that you guys waited for us after the NY/CT toll on 95. If you guys did. Thanks!

Let me tell you that the fondest memory I have of this meet is when you all pulled into the lot.

I don't know how many came in your caravan but it must've been close to 20 cars and I was looking at everybody there as you pulled in and their jaws were dropping at the sight.

Seeing all of you all coming down in one row was unbelievable! The mixture of 350Z's with G35's was sweet. That was a sight I will cherish forever. Thanks for coming.

i'm still smiling right now. i had so much fun and so did my best friend who came with me. The caravan was great too, i can't wipe the smile off my face when everyone started doing over a 100 on 91, hehe. The best part was the ride to limerock, not everyday you see over 70 Z on a road. We pass throught this town where everyone was staring and smiling us (smile town usa)

i had a blast, this is one experience i'll never forget, i'm so glad i brought the Z. Thx to vic, everyone and this forum, this could not happen with out them.

Ditto...

Most memorable moments...
  • The freak, I mean wierd guy on the bike at fort totton. He kept saying the same phrase over and over again. I think it was "what do you say to that?" over and over again. I don't know if anyone else picked up on it.
  • Taking up 3 lanes on the way up and zig zagging through traffic at 100 mph. People we were passing must have thought they were under attack.
  • The peel out crowd when we registered. The guy infront of me was a bit too agressive and gave people a scare by swerving towards parked Zs! I had to cut mine short due to somebody who tried to walk infront of me. I hope I got applauded though!
  • Smile town usa! Mysterium, I was in the same group as you, so I don't know if you saw the 3-4 kids on their bike as we made a right turn. Their jaws literally dropped.

ahhhh. most memerable moments:

• I remember the kid at Fort Totten! And yes he was saying stuff like "what do you say to that?!?!" I picked up on it and I was only there for maybe a couple of minutes. A little too weird, I'm sure the kid was on drugs.

• Driving to CT meet and watching reactions of cars we were passing. We had a corvette join us and then a mustang. I was a few cars behind watching all the action in front. Speeds reached well over 100 a couple of times.

• The peel out crowd when we registered. "The guy infront of me was a bit too agressive and gave people a scare by swerving towards parked Zs!" I believe that might have been me. I know I pulled out of there pretty hard and fast. I sincerely apologize if I scared anyone. It's that damn automatic, it doesn't miss a beat.

• Watching the burnouts before we left for Limerock. Thanks guys.

• Driving through ALL the small towns, watching people point and smile. In some towns it was like observing spectators at a tennis match. All heads would follow the 1st Z, then the 2nd, and 3rd, until they realized this was not just a one off sighting. People would stop what ever it was they were doing and watch as all the Z's would fly by.

• When we were traveling on the winding roads going to Limerock, we passed an old 300Z (on left side) that had a sheet metal rear end for a bumber. It was a sight to behold. I believe Wayne can attest to this.

• Taking home my Auto Art CS 350Z.

Again many thanks to Victor and crew! Looking forward to the next meet.
Cheers. -m

Hhaha, yea...I remember those kids and thinking they were gonna go home and say...MA MA, guess what we saw....lol!! Other things I will never forget....

* Driving 3 wide on Rt. 8 with over 40 Z's.....AMAZING!!!

* Getting off of Rt. 8 onto 44 West and watching all the Z's in front of me turn into McDonald's. I was the loner in the Red Z who wasn't hungry and kept going. Once we got to Lime Rock it was hilarious to find out the lead Z only truned into to relieve himeself and the caravan followed....

* Stopped a red light outside a gas station in "now where" CT, and a older couple was crossing the street. Heard the husband say....look honey the new Z. And look another one. WHAT THE....and the wife just said....oh my as they realized we were a good 15 - 20 deep.

* Taking the attention away from the Ferarri's once we all parked in the VIP lot at Lime Rock...hehe. Oh, it's true. It's true!

Yup it was me....LOL!!!

I was the first to swerve out of line and you caught up with me at the light. I had no clue where we were going either....what a relief it was to catch up with a few more Z's a few miles up the road. That was the best laugh of the day by far.

One memorable moment for me was on the way to Lime Rock. The caravan of Z's (about 16) passed an older 280 (I think, maybe possibly a 240) parked on the left. We all started honking and waving to the guy.

Also, bumping into a big group which had also gotten lost, and then pulling into a small gas station to figure out where we were going.

Good times.

Oh yeah I remember the crack head on the bike. I was taking pics and he came up to me and gave me his email and cell#. He want me to send the pics I was taking. Of course I threw it out when he wasnt looking.
We couldnt ask for a better day. It was a perfect day to do anything outdoors. Especially a Z meet! I had alot of fun cruising up there. The backroad twisties was a blast!
There was one thing that bothered me. The damn dust at Lime Rock! They should pave it or cover it up.
Anyway thanks for the people who made it happen..

I went on that 7-11 run when there were only a few cars at the fort. When I came back there were a ton of more cars... including that crack head. He was walking around to all the cars, I thought he was a Z driver. I was going to introduce myself when he came over to me. That's when I thought it was a bad idea to attend the meet. "Damn, these 350z guys are freaks!"

I would have to say we put F & F to shame that day. I came from Fort Lee with some people that I just meet and the 4 of us went nutz.. Believe we went over a bridge about 110 ish weaving in and out of traffic all day.. Cutting off trucks and getting them pissed.. It was an all out great day.. Just wish there more times like that .. None of my freinds car about cars so I realy have no one to roll with so this was a real special treat for me..

I believe it was I who did the scare with hitting the Z,s . Everyone want to see a burnout so I put my car sideways hehe..

Thanx again to all the mini car show was nice also next time will probably be better as more mods will come out and hope we can put something together soon...
