Frank and Frank both do great fab work from what I've seen. Just not sure if he'd take the job on. Plus he's already booked like 2 months out.

frank & frank would convince the noob that an off the shelf twin system would be cheaper and easier to maintain, and all would live happily ever after

Nah, doesn't seem like the OP would make sense of that. Why go off the shelf when you could be different? In the 2 years of being boosted I think I've only opened my hood up maybe 3 times at meets.

I guess it's ***** size, why go with something cheaper and proven to work when you can brag about how you have a custom setup.

Anyone else remember thee last true custom Mid A turbo setup? I do. nothing like internal waste gates. No doubt the setup worked but for the time/money, why bother unless of course it's a shops car/show car.

looks like the only place to be is hill's garage. that's good since I already seen his shop and spoke to him about that.
will let's wait and see how it goes.
point of this project is not "GETTING AN ALREADY FUNCTIONAL AND PROVEN THING"
it's about building something that is one of a kind and not only get it to car shows and park
it for the rest of the year nope. that is not the way I want it to be. My Idea is to be
a fully useful one of a kind F/I'ed Z.

This is not the platform to try and be different. People that have tried different setups have usually ended up failing, all while spending more money than something more proven and overall being slower than the next guy.

Dont forget PFS, they are in the area and they fab up some crazy $hit for RX7/8's, but have also done work on VQ's.

+1 you will get a much much more replies in the FI section, plus Keith has been upset that no good questions like this have come up recently.

Just copy/paste your last post. You'll have answers quick!

Mid A doesn't have nearly the traffic.

Good luck!

First, YES English is my second language.
Second, I'll try the PPL in F/I section even though I'm expecting the same answers.
Injected performance did that and I don't think that they came up from a different plant.
there idea with Hal's Z was the same it turned out really good.
the way I wana do it, smaller turbo like the GT37, different internals "pistons, cams, etc."

you won't get the same answers in FI section as you do here, Mid-A is a bunch of FI newbies who give bad advice.
