Question Plastic shroud underneath front bumper question

I am on my 3rd mod where I have to remove all these bolts to remove this plastic shroud ( I am adding new front grill) and getting sick of it. It isn't gonna rain here till winter and even when it does it is light. It's expected to hit 70 degrees within a couple days.

I am considering removing this shroud for the entire spring summer. I am thinking it will help suck in way more cold air from under car and also help keep my engine cooler at the track.

What exactly is this plastic shroud for (connects to bottom of front bumper all the way around front bumper?

Keep out water?

Any negative results of removing this? It's a PITA!

Opinions on my free cold air mod?

Didn't know where else to post this!

It is mainly for aerodynamics. I don't see that anything down there needs water protection.

Watch for all kinds of issues to start happening, overheating some times, damage to belts shortening of alternator life due to dirt. the list goes on, and the dealer will and rightfully not cover these problems. Useless parts would be left off at the factory to save Nissan money.
I say don't do it at all !!
