Hey guys. Just wanted to warn everybody in the NC/SC area about East Charlotte Nissan on Independence Blvd. in charlotte. They are horrible about customer service!! I actually just had a guy hang up on me from there this morning. I had bad experiences in the past with them as well but I was trying to hold off on poting negative feedback on them and give them a chance to come through for me. I got my 05 Z from them in september of 06 and they were all nice when they were selling me the car (of course). But then it was all downhill. The salesman only gave me one key to the car and said to come back a week or so later because they weren't able to find the other set at the moment. he said if they hadn't found it by then they would just cut me a new key. So I went back to them a couple weeks later for some regular maintenance and asked about the key. Leon, the little snake of a manager they had told me that unfortunately that guy (whose name happened to be guy) that sold me the car was no longer with them and that he had lied to me about the key and they wouldn't be cutting me one free of charge. But, he said, we can give you another remote in case you're ever locked out. So after a few minutes of going back and forth with him I just said fine. I was their for about 5 hours after that waiting on my car (they never could get the problem fixed either after multiple return trips) and the remote never materialized. So when it was time for me to go I talked to Leon again and he said he would give me a call about the remote and about some body work that had been done to the rear of the car that wasn't disclosed to me (I only noticed it while waxing the car a few days after i got it). He never called me back needless to say. So anyway thats two broken promises on the whole extra key thing from them.
So yesterday I'm at a local computer shop and my key gets stolen (long story for another post) and I'm locked out of my car. Right about then I was thinking how great it would have been if they would have come through with the key like they had promised or even the remote so I could have retrieved the two laptops from my car before leaving it. So I called East charlotte nissan and explained to them the situation and how they had promised me an extra set of keys. So the guy tells me, we'll program you a remote but you have to get the car towed here (I'm in concord which is about 30 miles away from East Charlotte Nissan). So I explained to them that if they had came through on what they promised that I wouldn't have to towe the car anywhere and therefore i thought that they should pay for the towe bill. So they refused that and made me get the car towed. So later on my keys were found and I was able to get into my car (after it got towed). So I called east charlotte nissan back today and told them i did get my key back but I would still like another key in case something like this ever happened again. So basically after the guy being an *** to me and telling me to call back tomorrow about it he hung up on me while i was still trying to talk. Oh and I still haven't got any explanation on why there was body work done to the rear of the car.
So the moral of this story is once again, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH EAST CHARLOTTE NISSAN.

That sucks man. I haven't had much done there at all, but I got my car from Nissan of Hickory and they were really good to me and always did any little warranty stuff I needed and got me some stock parts quickly. So, thats not too far from you, just as another option.

East Charlotte Nissan SUX.
When they were doing my oil change, they called me and says, 'your tire has a nail in it' and conviced me to get a new tire which will cost me good $400 for a POS potenza tire. I knew it was a total BS so I told them stop whatever they were doing and I, myself will personnaly go there and take a look at it. Of course 3 mins later, they called me back and says, it's been fixed with no charge..

I totally agree. i got mine there and yep when making the sale they are like flys on ****, but dont ever call them on anything. first they took a tag bracket that i had for about 10 years and gave me one of there crappy ones (they dont pay me to advertise) it was very late at night when we did my deal and it was close to 11 when we finally left so it was dark, and about 3 weeks later i noticed that one of my tail lights lenses was broken in the corner, the corner was gone, and there were no scratches on the lens its self or my bumper, so everyone i showed it to thought that it came from the factory that way. So i called and called and no one would call me back, not even little Leon. i started calling either tues or wed and i talked to Leon on friday afternoon. but the stupid salesman that we got our truck from called me for like the 3rd time asking me if i had made a decision about the car and im thinking dumb *** i bought one 25 days ago, anyway i set up a time to take it and have Leon look at it. so monday i went after work and he looked at it all right and he was like you cant prove that you took it home that way and i cant prove you did it, but he said im sure that it didnt come from the factory that way, they just wouldn't let that go out like that.

so the best he was gonna do was sell it to me at his cost, so i humored him and we went to the parts counter and he told me his "cost" and i was like how in the hell is that your cost, i can get it on line for less than that (courtesy) and he was like hum, i have them double check the cost and call you back. im still waiting for that ****ing phone call. i was thinking, he can do or actually not do what he wants, but i will get what i want. so as soon as i got home i got on the internet and went to the better business bureau and filled out a complaint. it took about another 3 weeks toget a response, but i finally got notice form the bbb and they agreed to replace the lens. i was on vacation the next week, so later in the week the following week i finally got it replaced. but the service guys was like im not sure how to code it, becasuse if i say it was cracked they wont pay for it, they will charge it back to us, i was like i dont give a ****, but its not gonna be me who pays for it. so i had my oil changed at the nissan dealership in concord. but i did get a survey about my service experience, but with gas around 2.50 a gallon, i gave them my survey for a free tank of gas. but i agree that they are a bunch of jack asses.

YES!!! Jolene. I hate to admit it but thats why i went there.. haha Funny thing though she doesn't even work there. She's just some really hot chick they put on the commercials to entice dumbasses like me to come to there dealership

HA! That's funny. I actually went to them to buy a Z and they would not leave me the hell alone. I was in the office with one of their sales people for 5 hours going back and forth on a good monthly payment. Unfortunately, i went back a few days later. I never ended up buying a Z from them but they will not leave you the hell alone. They honestly cannot take NO for an answer. It's not the good NO for an answer either, they will literally bug you over and over and over.. and over... So glad i didn't buy from them. Sorry about your Z. Hope it all works out.

Gotta say, they screwed me over when I purchased my car there too... sent me home with everything, car and all, then after two days said the financing I was approved for didnt expired, so I had to get them the car back that night, and go pick my traded in car from a dealership they had left it at, across town.
I ended up buying from South Blvd.
Im sticking with Nissan on South Blvd. and the one near Lake Norman. No complaints yet with those.

I agree, East Charlotte Nissan are a bunch as A**. I went there trying to talk to a salesman about buying a Z back when i was looking, and the only thing they were concerned of was whether or not i was going to buy that day. I told them that i would like to test drive one and then speak to my pops about it and come back with him before i sign anything. Needless to say they wouldn't let me test drive one and barely let me even look at it. Well a couple of days after i got my Z i went back with it and got them to check on some things...while i was waiting on my car the jackass of a salesman i dealed with came over to me to ask me about my Z...needless to say when he asked how i'd paid and i said cash he had a stupid look on his face....ha..punks...

Crooked isn't a reason for such ****ty customer service. These people may be crooked, but they are certainly dumb. If this thread loses them one sale(which it obviously will) it's cost them way more than saving the cost of a key they lost. Idiots!
