This is lame. Yes there were people that signed up for this meet and I was really excited to go, but i'm pretty sure that people had other things they wanted to do instead. Like you know, getting over a sickness and jetlag. I do appreciate the effort in putting this together though.

Anyways Mike Phillips said that one time he had 45 people sign up and only 2 show up. Not too shabby that we got about 20 people.

If you have a SB then you should definitely go. You can go any weekend there is space. Check the megs web site.

There is also an open detail time wed nights that anyone who signs up for can go to.

Ed, maybe thats where we should have the detail day... at Meguiars

hehe, here's what it says on their sign up page:
Mike Phillips will host an Open Garage in which registered members of our Meguiar's Online Discussion Forum can sign-up to bring their own car down and work on it using the complete arsenal of Meguiar's products and tools with experienced and trained experts on hand to help you as well as show you the proper techniques for getting show car results!

I see tripmachine is going tonight. Finishing up from saturday

For the wed open night, can you pretty much clay, polish and wax your entire car during that time or are you somewhat limited do to sharing of products and space?

from what i heard there are no rules really.... but i'm sure people don't like it when you detail your entire car.... i think the class is mainly for learning techniques and doing a section of your car to get the propper technique down.... Mike said he won't stop people from doing their whole car but he doesn't think that is what should be done.. ?? haha anyway i don't know if i'll be making it tonight after all.... we'll see..
