New Years Day Run - Tuesday 1/1/08 (5th Annual Tour d'Orange)
 

The fifth annual "Tour d' Orange" will be held again this year. This is similar to the Saturday morning Cars & Coffee meets only with a drive afterwards. Lots of exotics and other rare cars.

January 1st 2008 “Tour d’Orange”.

Officially the first car event of the year, this will be the 5th edition of the Tour d’Orange. Over 350 cars participated last year, expect the same this year.

Meet on Redhill Ave. between the “Auto Kennel” and Newport Shelby.

The Auto Kennel is located at 3001 Redhill Ave., Bldg 6, Suite 109, Costa Mesa, CA, 92626. Newport Shelby is at the corner of Redhill Ave. and Fischer Ave.

Parking lots at the Auto Kennel and Newport Shelby. Lots of street parking on Fischer Ave. Map can be found HERE.

Meet at 8:30 AM, maps at 8:45 AM, DEPART AT 9 AM.

There is no formal notice besides this. All cars welcome. Please pass this notice to your respective car clubs and like minded enthusiasts.

No need to start a list or sign up, just show up if you want to go on a great drive, see some nice cars and most importantly, if you can wake up on time:icon14:

Yep thats pretty much how it is, but it will be the back roads of Irvine/Orange in one way, shape or form.

Scott if I don't go to Vegas for the New Year I will def be there.

I caught your post. I'm not quite for sure whats going on that day other than trying to get tickets to the Rose Bowl game. If I don't go to the game, I'll be there. Its been too long since my last cruise!

Yea I've been really busy with work. I haven't had much time till the holidays finally hit for me to even get somewhat of a decent break,ha!
Looks like I will be seeing ya New Years, the tickets fell through.

Yep its early for New Years day, thats why there is no sign up list! I overslept a couple years ago and missed it!

If you can wake up though, its easily one of the best car events of the year, especially if you are into the whole "Cars N Coffee" thing.

Not too bad really, it's just at month-end we do a lot of extra stuff. We would normally do our release at midnight tonight but because of new years they let us push it back until 8AM...so that we can attempt to do it hungover instead of actually having drinks in hand. :p The better of two evils I suppose.
