i'm buying Evo TT
I am buying the Evo tt exhaust brand new for 1,250.00. does that sound like a good price?
thanks |
I have no idea if that price is good or not. But did u check with the vendors on this site? They seem to have the best pricing on everything.
try and find it used bro
why used? i want something still in the bubble wrap, i already have "hand me down" wheels
ok but if ur gonna spend 1300 for an exhaust at least get the HKS
Do you have a turbo kit OP?
And that exhaust is discontinued if I remember correctly, so I suppose that price is fine. But if you don't have a turbo kit, why by a exhaust designed for turbo cars? |
its not discontinued, i'm working my way up to a turbo just getting other things first.
I believe that the Turbo TiC dual exhaust replaced this exhaust last year. Some vendors still have some left. But if your going to being doing a turbo install than this is a great idea. Good luck.
i went to greddy its self and it is for sale still for 1,595.00
http://www.greddy.com/products/displ...&SubCategory=3 the 240sx, Rx8, Rsx, and the Civic Si are all discontinued tho. |
are you turboed? NA setups with evott's have been known to sometimes lose power
NA is fail with the Evo TT....
so basiclly putting this exhaust on im going to lose power, but its good with the greddy bolt on Turbo that i just happen to not have.
so i guess i should look up the Greddy Tic and see what that exhaust is all about. |

ok well that sucks but i rather not loose any horses.. so ill stay away from exhaust for just a bit till i can go Fi and not worry about loosing any horses...... but arnt test pipes illegal or something?
Lets just say that you wouldn't gain as much if you went with a smaller diameter exhaust. But when you go FI, you will receive the benefits of having a bigger exhaust. I would say buy the Evo TT or the TiC Dual depending on the looks. They are the exact same size in regards to piping. The TiC Dual can be had for 999 shipped I believe, so that may be something to consider. This will save you money in the long run because when you go FI in a few months, you will already have a good exhaust for it. If you bought the Nismo exhaust now for example you would have to sell it and lose some money to switch over to a larger exhaust.
yea makes sense, and they would compliment with the greddy turbos correct?
als does greddy have a Single Turbo set-up? |
If you went with any twin turbo kit those exhausts would be a good choice. And no greddy does not make a single turbo kit. TN is one company that does off the top of my head.
