I used this site:
http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

Put in 8.546 seconds and 80.85 mph....I imagine its actually faster because I'm losing RPM from launch "bog" (at almost full throttle) but without a real timer there is no telling.

edit- you have a higher trap....a lot higher, thats 20 degrees of temp right there :)

Did you make it to the dragstrip hot dog?

Gooey 12-07-2007 08:00 PM

wow according to that website I run 0-60 in 4.19seconds. :) hundreth of a second faster then a ferrari 550 maranello...

I hope none ofyou guys are takin that website seriously. There is no way my car is that fast.

Hoooper 12-12-2007 07:35 PM

yeah, thats is certainly fast. i found another on that same site, and for my car to run with 270HP @3150lbs, it would run 12.1s, pretty far from right if you ask me. however. <5s 0-60 FTW

official published times are based on regular roads with regular street tires. u were doing it at a VHT treated dragstrip on drag radials, while i'm not saying its 100% accurate, it could very well be possible

why are people so concerned about 0-60 times? give me quarter mile, hell even eighth mile over 0-60.

Just to bring it back to the beginning of the thread - I think the 0 - 60 time on our cars are posted at 5.7-5.8 sec.

Although I +1 on the fact that 0-60mph times aren't that great of a metric to use on your car.
