6 second 0-60 time??? Anyone else?
I was doing some 0-60 timing to see what my car can do. I have about 11K miles, and a HKS exhaust. I found my self time and time again getting anywhere from 5.9-6.2 seconds. I know the "claimed" time for 0-60 for our car is 5.2 seconds but I have a close to empty tank of gas and tried launching from every RPM but can't get near 5.2 seconds. Anyone else tried or can you try so I dont think Im crazy.

5.2??

Dont trust a gtech if that is what you are using. Those metering devices are about worthless
|
No, just a stop watch
|
If you are using a stop watch by yourself by the time you realize you hit 60mph and hit your stop watch your probably adding a couple tenths of a second and also if you have a passenger thats added weight which could also add a little time to your clock.

Everyone knows that counting Mississippi's is the most accurate method...

There are alot of converters on the web you just input your time slip from the drag race and then it will tell you your 0-60 time.
Go to the drag strip that is as real world as you can get. http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php |
