You could find TN kits on here for less than $4K

i person with 6000+ posts should know better than that. First there is no plenum, and second he wouldn't be able to buy QUALITY wheels and tires alone with 4k (he could, but used).
Unless you are being sarcastic!!!!

Wow, who's this asshole?

Sorry OP, didn't realize you said HR.

lgear080 Nov 18, 2008 04:43 AM

Funny, I think that $4k is just not enough. Why screw $4k into a motor
which performs as well as it does in stock form to only pickup 5%-10%
more power? Hold off on your spending. Save more and come back w/
3x that much. By that time you should have some turbo options available
at $12k.

That ******* gave the OP useful info unlike people that dont read topics and just answer it as fast as they can to up their post count, like *******s.

What part of what he said was useful?

Please stay out of this thread if you have nothing constructive to share.

To the OP: I know you hate hearing it, but if it's power you're looking for, you'll just be dumping money away spending $4000 on bolt-ons. For a couple thousand more you'll be a lot happier with a 500whp car. Just my $.02.

0jiggy0 Nov 18, 2008 06:04 AM

The no plenum spacer part.

Why dont you stay out of the topic since there are no TN kits for the HR. You've contributed NOTHING useful, so why dont you take your own advice.

And just to make you feel happy.

Stillen headers 500
TP's / HFC's 300-500
Catback 500-1500
K&N Drop ins/Injen 100-500
Technosquare/Cobb AP 600-700

There you go $2000 - $3700 for the guy that asked the question thats been asked a million times. Also going from 250 whp give or take to 310-320 whp isnt a waste of time to some people. Thats a vastly different car. Also since you want me to be constructive

ps. please stay with $4000 or around
don't say save more turbo it some or go to track learn skill upgrade driver or something like that.

He specifically said he didnt want to save for a turbo. Anything else "constructive' youd like to add?

dave079 Nov 18, 2008 06:06 AM

Just buy some nice wheels and tires and be done with it

SOLO-350Z Nov 18, 2008 06:07 AM

Umm there is no plenum spacer for the HR dude.

You can easily get quality wheels and tires for under $4000, even under $3000. Not everyone needs to get Volks.
