Talking Ordered my Rota P45's today!!!!

Ordered a staggered set of HYPER SILVER P45's today, I probably wont get them for a few weeks though

Now I need to get me some good cheap tires, I know I am going 245/40 and 275/40 but what brand should i go with? I am leaning towards Sumitomo or Kumho..

pics of front and rear wheels:

Very nice! Post some pics when you get them. Check out the Avon Tech M500 tires, they're cheap but hold up well. Tirerack.com has them.

$900....compared to other wheels that's a steal.

I'd take these over Kazeras anyday.

After comparing tires for wear, grip, and price, the ones I came up with was the Kumho MX.

At that price, I won't feel as bad beating 'em up on a track! Congrats man on a great buy!

Since you saved money on the rims, get some really good tires! People may rag on your rims, but get some dope tires and they may have to think twice!

These are cast rims not forged, right?

Congrats on the wheels, you will love em. I love my P45R's and will continue doing business with Rota in the future.

Man, all these threads about Rotes have be thinking about the black ones with the red lip with an AP Racing BBK with red calipers. I think that would look sick.

Definitely report back with the wheel weights. I have to admit they're great looking wheels for the price - I'm just not convinced of the quality...yet. Let us know how they look in person.

Weights are 21lbs for the fronts and 22lbs for the rears. We have alot of customers who run the rears all around though. Quality is great, check out a few recent threads from customers who use the wheels for only track and those who also use them on their daily drivers. lots of pictures posted
