I had the typical work emotion set up with 18x9.5 +20 rear wheels and 18x8.5 +30 front wheels. I've never really been happy with the offset. My front wheels use to look like a black hole was sucking then into the center of my car.
So I ordered 2 18x9.5 +12 offset, dismounted the tires and put my old rear wheels on the front and these new +12 offset on the rear. I have no clearance issued (being that I rolled my rear fenders) and the stance is much much improved. Now I have that concave look in the front that I was always missing. !
the ol, 8.5 +30s notice all the way at the bottom you can see alittle bit of
the tire...... boooooooo
the new 9.5 +20 notice you can see meat all the way up yaaayyyyyyy
two reasons
one: i don't trust the size of spacer I would need for the track
two: the wider the wheel and lower the offset the more concave the work emotions get.
I like the curves...alooot
But I think the rears cannot be +12 as +12 is a GTR offset and I have seen GTR TE37's (9.5) with a +12 offset on a Z and they do not fit. They stick out like 1/2"
