Volks I got won't fit the brembos

19x9.5 front (+24)
19x10.5 rear (+24)

Those are the sizes of my volks and they won't fit the brembos in the front.
I tried to measure how much big of a spacer I would need in the front to fit the brembos and I really think I would need like a 15mm spacer to fit the fronts. Can anyone please help? I have a 03 G35 w/ brembos. Help!

I cant believe people still have this issue even after 1000 posts just like this! There is an extra bolt coming out of your rotor on the front. Take that out, as it's there to keep people from mounting stock rear wheels on the front. Enjoy the new wheels....here is a pic in this thread (below btw)if you dont understand what Im saying ---> https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/219000-help-volks-wont-fit-over-rotor.html

i don't think so dood...

i think intotherain got the wrong disk... you probably got disk B or C; you need disk A. go exchange the wheel cuz i have no idea how big a spacer you need.

I'll hope for his sake its an easy fix like mentioned above-but looking at his sig and seeing wheels, Id imagine he already took those off-mmm OP good luck let us know how it goes...

Ah, man.
I did get wrong the wrong disk!
Thanks for helping me out though..
I am considering selling these wheels again lol
I will post up and see if anyone without brembos will trade me!
I mean.. it has a huge lip in the front!

Oh while we're at it...

My Z - 35th anniversary /w Brembo-brakes

Will they fit??
I'm getting SF-Challenge

Front 19x9,5 Offset +28
Rear 19x10,5 Offset +23

Fit Fit Fit??

Andy@Performance Sep 26, 2006 01:33 PM

Shouldve been a high pad type disc.

VashZ350 Sep 26, 2006 01:45 PM

So here it states:

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/...?modelName=SFC

So Offset Typ A will fit the 350Z with brembo brakes right??

that means

front 19x9,5 Offset Typ A +28
rear 19x10,5 Offset Typ A +15

in2therain3 Sep 26, 2006 03:09 PM

Type A will fit even with 24 offsets.

Cux350z Sep 26, 2006 03:44 PM

explain the three different disks things. Im lost as to how it could effect the fitment.

Why do they have to make wheels complicated! All one should have to do is pick a bolt pattern, diameter and offset. And now a disk, ugh. WTF!

that setup will clear your brembo.. rear unless you are running aftermarket (4 piston) brake kit you will not need high pad.. a low pad will still clear factory rear brembo.. so just run

19x9.5 +28 & 19x10.5 +23

well you 19x9.5 +24 is a C Disk which mean Low Pad for small caliper.. so you would need to get 19x9.5 +17 aggressive or +30...

Zincognito Sep 26, 2006 06:07 PM

**** man, where in VA are you located?? I might be interested....

+1

So what disk do i need if i have an 06 z with stock brakes? Never realized there were different disks..........

HXS Sep 27, 2006 11:27 AM

for volk wheels:
A = high pad = brembo and stock fitment
B = mid pad = stock only
C = low pad = stock only

So, for my 06z with stock brakes (dont plan on getting a BBK), I can run any of these? So I assume the difference are the offsets. Which would give me the most aggressive offset without any rubbing issues? Which one has the biggest lip on the wheel? The list on the link above doesnt show anything for the C disk in 19's. Do they only come in A and B?

Cux350z Sep 27, 2006 02:59 PM

still doesnt understand 100%. Anybody have pics of each with the differences?
