Hey guys I just bought some sf challenges and it wont fit over my front rotor...the lugs line up but there is a "6th screw" on the rotor that stops the rim from going in all the way...can someone tell me what is wrong??? Thanks!!!

 

take the "6th screw" out.. its just there to keep you from putting your stock rear wheels on the front

 

+1 take it out you dont need it.

^^^ I almost did LOL.....I got a great price on some mint GM SF Challenges and I was startin to think I got ripped off when the wheel wouldn't go on...

 

I remember when I got my Volk SF Challenges and the fronts wouldn't go on. I freaked out as well. Got mine for a steal as well, $2400 for tires/wheels, only 200 miles were put on them from the previous owner,

Send the wheels back and get new ones with 6 holes.

 

I put my wheels on today too. Looked at that bolt for about 30 seconds and decided she was coming out.



I knew it would come up a few times so I grabbed a picture of the offending bolt.

 

i dont understand why our cars come like that

 

So the inexperienced service folks don't rotate your tires!
