any one rolling on Enkei RPF1's?
was thinking about purchaseing some in the size of 17 inches maybe in january or febuary.
http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ls&prodid=1431 Was wondering if any one actualy uses these for daily drivers and how strong are they compared to stock wheels, i would hate to get a bent/cracked rim fast due to potholes on the highway that jsut happen to be abundant in my area. |
here I help you out before you get flamed.
https://my350z.com/forum/search.php?searchid=2365783 But go with 18's, 17's will look crappy. |
Nobody has ever run these on a Z. Good job looking though;)
|
I have 18" RP03's on mine and am completely satisfied. They are alot lighter than stock (non-track Rays) and look great. Plus, in Vegas, I have yet to see another Z (or any vehicle for that matter) with the same style.

Are they strong? If certified for the street then yes. If you like them than buy them. Be original.
|
I'm not sure how big are the potholes you run in to, but it would take a pretty good impact to bend your rims. Enkeis are great rims and if you can bend those, you can bend many other rims
|
I've had my 18" RPF1's for over 2 years now, I've not had one worry with them. They're great wheels and very durable.
|
RPF1's also come in 19's. Daily driver wheels need to fill these huge wheelwells!

I already have 17 inch on my Z. My goal was to stay Performance of 17 and go wider.
Was hopeing to run 245/45/17 Front and 255/45/17 Back. I dont know what all the hate is on the 17 inches but im use to looking at it already. Oh yeah drumma your car looks really awesome with those wheels. |

If you are ok with that then that's fine. - 18's will be a nice balance between looks/performance and still save you about 8 lbs per wheel vs. stock. - It's hard to find a nice aggressive matching offset for front/rear in 17" and 18" diameters. 19's come in the perfect (IMO) +22. Here is my car with 18 x 8.5 +30 and 9.5 +15 with 245/40 and 275/35 tires: http://www.az350z.com/photopost/data/500/11RPF1.jpg |
I have the 18x9.5 +15 and 10.5 +15 coming in next month. we'll be offerring a promotion on all Enkei Racing Series wheels sometime in end of Dec, beg of January.
I only have them coming in F1 Silver right now. We should have the best prices on Enkei Racing series you will find. i also have 17x9.0 +22 and 17x10.0 +18 coming. Not to mention i ahve the 19's also but those are easy to get. These other sizes are basically JDM offsets. |
Im ok with it looking "funky".
I look at all your guys sites but none of you seem to be offering in that SBC color is it? |
Actually looks like our SBC order is the one that's supposed to come first at the end of January. Silvers don't have an ETA yet.
The shiny one is the SBC finish. |
whats your site AUto RnD?

We had a slight lapse in our vendorship here. We'll be setting up again next week more than likely, definitely January when the majority of our Z33 wheels start popping up. thanks for your interest. PM me if you're really interested in preordering a set for your Z. |

I just bought a set of Enkei RPF1's for my Z. Does anyone know if the stock lugs work properly for these wheels? I just installed the first wheel and they seem to work fine, except for the cheap socket they sent (keeps binding up and won't find the lug). I just bought a new 21 mm socket and it fits smooth as silk and the lugs torque down nicely.

I actually hear a lot of decent things about Enkei rims, mostly from auto-x'rs though. Not sure about on the street.
