+1 LOL:icon18:
Most people will be lucky to get 15K out of ultra-high performance summer tires lol

michaeljr6 07-05-2007 12:02 AM

wow you got 27K!?!?!?!? lucky ass i got only 18K and the last 3K i was praying for no rain as i would hydroplane and crash

DJShan209 07-05-2007 12:04 AM

27k?! Wow, I would've loved to see me go 20K + with mine!

michaeljr6 07-05-2007 12:09 AM

to the op:
i think we're trying to tell you that you got what you paid for.....and you're very bless that it last that long.

davidv 07-05-2007 04:50 AM

27,000 miles is OK for performance tires.
Do they wear evenly?
Photos are helpful.

mono11 07-05-2007 06:59 AM

yes they are pretty even. i just never own a high performence tire like that before. thats why i was asking. i think if i would of rotate the tires they would of last at least 5k more. but i never got around to it. because i notice it only wear out on the inside part of the tire.

Yea feel good about 27k. I got 8k out of my $hitty sumitomo(do not buy). And I need new ones already.

27K is great to get out of thost tires man.

davidv 07-05-2007 01:36 PM

You are eating the inside edge of the tire. Its time for an alignment, or just buy cheap tires.

mono11 07-05-2007 08:16 PM

i align my car about 2 times a yr. is that not enough? how offen should i do it?

OffsetZ33 07-05-2007 08:39 PM

you appear to be lowered in which case you would most likely need a camber correction kit to bring back your rear camber closer to OEM specs. Personally though I like more neg. camber anyways, and if you are already getting 27K out of a set of rear tires I wouldnt even bother...

mono11 07-05-2007 09:32 PM

tell me something i'm not too familier with all this stuff. i bought the car stock it had the stillen pipes and i belive it was lowered. if i want it back to factory it should only lift it up a lil right. and what would i need if i want it back to stock as far as the suspencion. personally i always thought it was too low on the rear.

You will have to look under the car, and see how the suspension is altered. Most likely springs or coilovers. To get it back to stock, those will have to be replaced with OEM parts.

NEVER buy cheap tires...you get what you pay for, especially on tires of this caliber.

mono11 07-06-2007 11:28 AM
