Best concave rims?

Post the name and picture of what you think are the best concave rims. I'm debating myself which i think are the best, but there could be so many out there that i don't know about.

I tried to get a decent shot of every rim discussed, hopefully one that shows off the concavity. In some cases, i'll admit it was difficult finding any flattering pictures of some of the rims

Do you mean something that has a large lip? Deep dish style? Cause there are plenty of those. Quality wheels too from Volk to Work

I would like to see some nice concave rims with out lips

The TE37's do always look good.

^^That's the winner. TE's and LMGT4's are really concave with aggressive offsets (18x10.5 +12) These are concave too.

Gullflame...they look great. Any idea how heavy hey are in?

OffsetZ33 09-15-2007 08:05 AM

pretty heavy Ive heard since they are cast - I think I read on the evo forums that they are about 25lbs per 18"

twenzel 09-15-2007 08:10 AM

Advan RGII are pretty concave. ;)

Forget about lips, forget about concave faces. It's all about center crater depth.

LMAO "center crater depth"
Anyone remember that thread with the guy pointing out how deep his "center lip" was I think they were work rims but I forget.

the Gullflame are sold in the US under the Greddy label

http://www.z1auto.com/images/gravity4.jpg
http://www.z1auto.com/images/gravity2.jpg

go up to 18 inch - sizing is a bit limited but if you do an aggressive offset the concavity is huge

Check out sizes/colors and to order here:

http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...ls&prodid=1921

the really are not all that heavy at all all things considered - very similar in spec to the Work Emotion series and Gram Lights.

Shabib67 09-15-2007 06:28 PM

Hey adam you got anymore pics of that 350z with the Volk RE30. I have always wanted to see what RE30's would look like on a 350z.

Motormouth 09-17-2007 06:14 AM

the bee-r rims look just like nismo rims with high offset.

Nismo offers a 18x10.5 +15 which I am thinking is the same wheel as the bee-r ones. it's 580 per wheel.

Shabib67 09-17-2007 08:02 AM

Excuse my newbness but as the offset gets lower does the wheel become more concave?

Z1 Performance 09-17-2007 08:05 AM

completely depends on the wheel

Greedy4nismo 09-17-2007 01:54 PM

i have updated the first post to include several pictures and the weights of each of the rims discussed so far

Shabib67 09-17-2007 06:27 PM

Hey Adam do you have anymore pics of the Volk RE30 on a 350z or does anyone have a pic of the RE30's on a 350z???

It depends on if the spokes connect to the rim on the inside or out towards the outside of the rim.
