Thumbs down I got PWNED by Nitto 555's (pictures inside)

Alright so some of you guys that are on mygtr.com might have read my comments last night about how quick my rear Nitto 555's wore out . So this morning I took some pictures. Funny thing is it looks like I have POSITIVE instead of negative camber . The outside is actually worn out more than the inside of the tire. Guess I'll have to go get my camber kit adjusted. I probably won't get these tires again after all the bad stories I heard about them. Oh ya and I bought and installed these tires on 2/6/08 so I only had them for 6 months. How the crap do they wear out that quick? I don't even track my car or anything . And Blasian said he got 40k miles out of his!!!

I'm thinking about going with these tires next
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....1=yes&place=35

Anyways here are some pictures.

right rear:
lol @ my positive camber

left rear:

funny thing is, here are my stock Bridgestones, still going strong  But I'll be changing these out too, so I'll get all new tires

And a big thanks to Kat (monokuroboo) for making these

Does anybody know if any tire shop can adjust my camber kit, or would I need to take it somewhere else for that?

Had these tires too and they sucked big time. IDK about how long the tread lastest caseu i swapped mine out so quick but these tires are just horrible in the rain. I could have killed myself. I was going around a corner and was relaxed with my music on goign like 20 mph and in the dry i do that all the time. I was in the mindset of cruising so when the back steps out im like wtf. Horrible tire....i hate it with a passion. Got the ps2's and i have nothing but good things to say about them. Those BFG's were my second choice and are a great tire. Two of my freinds have them and their awsome.

Yup, I remember it rained about 2 weeks after I bought these tires and even though they were brand new, I could feel my back end sliding back and forth slightly when driving on the freeway. It was scary

my nt555 held up for so long, even when i drive hard. My oem bridgestones on the other hand, didn't last me more than half a year.

I have all season tires and they get freakin sweet grip even in the winter. I'm not going to switch to summer after getting these. They are bridgestone AS pole position tires.. Expensive, but guaranteed 30k tread and great reviews.

LOL, how? For me it was the exact opposite. My stock rear's lasted me 13k and the nt555's only 7k

So if I wear them out in less than 30k, I get a free set?

Terrible rear alignment. Surprised that you did not notice degraded handling.

Any alignment shop should be able to handle your Z with the camber kit and all.

that is the benefit of buying tires at the same place that does alignment. You can make them honor a manufacturer's warranty.

Cant they just come up with some BS excuse like "we think you drift your car, so were not giving you new tires" or something?

lol, idk, if it wasn't so dark, i would take pics of the thread blocks front and rear. They are huge block left and trust me when i say i do dumb stuff sometimes. But i just thought about it, even though they have been on the car for over a year and a half, i only put about 7k miles on them. Maybe that's the reason.
