Question about stock tire price's
Well me friend owns a body shop so i figured why not puches tires through him. He gets a 15% discount and its tax free through dearlerships. so i called a nissan dealer today. They quoted me $290 for one rear tire. Did the parts dep. skrew up or are these tires almost $300 a peace. If so can anyone recomend a better tire than the bridgestones for $300. Ohh i have an 07 enth.

Read around this Wheel&Tire forum.
You'll find plenty of answers. and no, don't buy from the dealership |
What tire isn't better than the OE Bridgestones!
It's going to depend on your driving and location so look around a bit. |
stock tires for 300 each??
no i think its better to get it from somewhere else... anywhere else actually... |
almost 300 i would never pay that much for production tire
especally for tires that feather after a few thousand miles |
wow a bit too much. i got some BFG's at costco with warranty for all 4 tires for 800 bucks.

Depends what size tires you are shopping for. “Stock” means jack. Dollar for dollar I think you can do better than OEM tires.
EDIT: Before buying tires I would read the thread titled “Before buying tires” check these test results: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=tires |
Thanks dave but I already read that and I'm thinking that the price's are a little dated. As for the meaning of :stock: it's means the stock tire size. LOL. But thanks for the help. Hey maybe someone can updated that thread so it's more current

i suggest you check out discount tire or tire rack
