Will my car look dumb with 19's and no drop?

I just got a 2008 350z and my friend is selling his 19" BBS wheels because he traded in his g35.. anyway, I was wondering if my car would look dumb without a drop. Does anyone have any pics of their 350's with 19"s without being lowered? Here's a picture of the wheels

Of course not. I'd bet the majority of owners who change wheels DON'T drop the car.

Pics? Start here...

Front = 19x9 +15 offset 245/35/19 tires
Rear = 19x10 +20 offset 275/30/19 tires

There is no reason you would have to lower the car when putting on 19" wheels. Your car will look great with those BBS wheels.

I have a minimal drop on 19's. Too many speed bumps at my work:(

Front tires are taller than rear.

OP, but you do plan to get a drop, right?

Thanks, it was nice for a time, and if you not lowering your car you might want to get pretty conservative offsets because your car will look a little weird with very low offsets and no drop.

I'm sure you will want to lower it after you have your wheels on for a while.

I have staggered 19s with no drop and will be dropping mine sometime this year. Looks good either way imo.

Some things to consider:
  • The Z looks great with no drop.
  • Too much drop looks worse than no drop.
  • ½” is plenty of drop, and even that will increase your “scrapes” with normal street driving.
BTW: Your rear tires should be 275/35-19” (and not the 30 profile you have)

Stock suspension looks best with stock wheels. If you don't care much for lowering, the Tein STechs offer a mild drop that will look great with aftermarket wheels.
This is my car with 19s and STechs. Sits slightly lower than stock but not much.

On a G35x, yeah. Looks pretty idiotic.

But on a 350Z, it's okay. It's definitely not preferred, but not fatally ugly either.
You can probably get away with it by using a slightly taller tires.

You can never have too much drop. Internet warriors always flame that slamming will make roll adjustments and suspension geometrys go bad making the car handle "worse than stock". I can see why that is the case in theory.
But theories aside and back to reality, the fastest circuit 350Z here is 1" off the ground, riding on mostly stock suspension arms.

My car is slightly lowered on Nismo S Tuned shocks and springs but I feel it's sitting pretty close to the stock height. Check out the pics...
