Well as some of you my know, I destroyed my last set of rims.(Click Me For More Info) Lucky for me I have a new set sitting in my house already. They were powdercoated gloss black with a candy red lip, the coater did a crappy job. It was free so I couldn't say much. Today I just visited the local powder coat shop, and they said because the design of the rim it is next to impossible to make the face and lip two different colors. So I'm force the chose to colors Flat black or Gloss black. I'm unsure because I have a black coupe. For contrast, I have a set of Ray's Red lugs, and I plan to paint a red outline on my grille. Also I plan to have some Red BBK's by next March the lastest.
Here are pic's of the rims I have. notice how close the face is to the lip/

Pic's of my G before
Chrome outline, will be painted red.

Painted taillight will stay the same, but Mt. Fiji will be flat black

Thanks for your vote.
P/S: Not bit off of Robzone, but my G would look similar to his. Only I will be little more blacked out. (Grille, Headlights, Taillights, Center Caps)
IMHO flat black. I have flat black wheels with 5% tint on PPW and it looks great. Plus with all the rain I don't have to worry how nice and clean the wheels looks as they are flat black.

Not really.
My old rims were crap, I learn that shortly after I got them. However lasted for 3 years.

The Petrol's on the other many not be as well known, but the model I have are at least forged. Even though I didn't pay as much, the Petrols retail in the $700 per rim. I was trying to save up for some SP1's 3-Piece, but things happen when you have kids.

Thanks^
Well, Flat black by a landslide when counted with the other 3 polls I have on other forums. I just dropped of the rims today, and they should be ready by next week.
Thanks to everybody that voted.

I didn't pay anywhere near to $700 a wheel, I was just stating that was the MSRP. For $2800 I would have got a set of Works or Volk rims with tires.
What's up Crawford, there are actually a few places that powder coat in Hampton Roads
