New 350z owner here - electrical noises from rear wheels at idle. Any ideas?
Does anyone have any clues as to what is causing the noise in this video?? It sounds like some sort of electrical static or almost like when you peel tape off a tape roll lol. It only happens when the engine is running and can be heard most notibly from around both rear wheels while at idle, it doesn't change with RPM, or change when I turn the AC or radio on/off - I pulled the boot out and while I can hear it, its still not as loud as when I am down by the rear wheels - but it does look like someone has put sound deadening all over the boot area
The car is running fine with no codes etc - its a 2007 350z HR GT on 63k miles
Thanks all!

Will try to get a better video tomorrow - if you listen very carefully/turn up the volume, you can definitely hear it in that video - its a very inconsistent staticy noise like tzz tz tz ttzzz tzz tz
Sorry, but I turned the volume all the way up, on headphones, and I still can't hear what you're describing. The only electrical thing back there is the fuel pump (and the tail lights and the rear wiper, of course). There is nothing high-voltage back there. Maybe the evap canister??? But AFAIK, that thing doesn't have an electrical component.
