The latest Car Reliability Survey results were recently posted. The reported number of repair trips per 100 cars per year for the 2003 350Z, 64, is about average and close to "better than average."
A big thanks to everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in May, August, and November. With additional participants we could provide more precise results and include all model years. The 2004 and 2005 should make it into the May update. We'd love to have a quick result for the new 370Z--just a matter of getting enough owners involved.
We now have a separate results page for each model. The one for the Nissan 350Z:

When you register for the True Delta site it asks you the question:
Do you visit an online forum for this vehicle once a week or more?
If so, which do you visit most often?
I notice that My350Z.com is not one of the drop down choices. It looks like this site will be providing a lot of users to your datebase, so is there any way it can be added?
Just registered my 2006

As it is, those for whom a single email is ample receive just a single email. The system "learns" who doesn't need follow-up emails, and does not send any follow-up emails to them. It can take up to four months for this "learning" to occur.
If you would like me to check out what's been happening in your case, please contact me via email or the contact form on the site. In some cases I can accelerate the learning process.

In about a month we'll start previewing the next set of results to participants. More would be helpful, as all years but 2003 are either just above or just below the minimum.

We'll have a result for the 2003 in May. More responses needed to provide reliability stats for other model years.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
We continue to need more participants, especially for 2004 on. Would like to provide everyone with results for all model years.

We have updated results for the 350Z to include owner experiences through March 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2005: 36, very small sample size
2003: 59
Better than average in both cases.
A big thanks to everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in August and November. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years.

Thanks, I appreciate that.
We'll have updated results for at least the 2003 and 2005 next month. Continue to need more participants for the other years.
We're currently a single response short of a partial result for the 2004, and a couple short for the 2008.
If everyone who has signed up responded for the survey, we'd be able to fully cover 2003-2007. So hopefully many of you just like to wait for the last minute
Additional participants would certainly help.

We have updated results for the 350Z to include owner experiences through June 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2005: 48
2004: 32
2003: 41
All are better than average. Sample sizes small for the 2004 and 2005, good for the 2003.
A big thanks, once again, to everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in November and February.
With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years.

We have updated results for the 350Z to include owner experiences through September 30, 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2007: 62, about average
2006: 83, about average
2005: 48, better than average--fewer repairs after the warranty ends?
2004: 43, better than average
2003: 52, better than average
Sample sizes small for all but the 2003.
We've also introduced two new statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop. We don't have these for the 350Z yet, though, because they require a larger number of responses.
Everyone who has been helping, thanks, I certainly appreciate it. We'll have further updates in February and May. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and provide all three stats for all model years.

274 Z owners now signed up. A good start, but more remain needed to provide precise results for all model years. Next set of results in February.

Those updated results in a couple of weeks.
As always, the more owners participate, the better the information we can provide to everyone.
