Any good locksmith should have an airbag they shove in the door seam once expanded it creates about a half inch gap in which they use a rubber coated rigid metal rod to either push a window or unlock button. You need to punch the previous two locksmiths in the face for not having the correct setup, and then punch yourself for not getting a spare key made earlier.

when i went to a dealer to make a spare key they said i must wait 24 hours for it to be made due to some programming chips they put inside... and guys Z locks itself after 2 minutes if you leave ur key in the ignition, i also learned it the hard way after owning the car for first 4 days... i put my keys in ignition, and the remembered that i forgot something at home so i went back home to get it and simply less then 2 minutes i come back and my car was locked..... =/ ... oh **** i thought... but i called the locksmith and he got it opened within like 25 seconds...

Take a small wedge of a piece of 2x4 or something equally soft - wedge it gently into the window at the top until it makes a gap. Then use the coat hanger. We did it at the track last year - 10 minutes at most and it was open. I too cannot believe a locksmith can't get it open - that is ridiculous. And I have seen my own car re-lock itself - at least a couple of times. Could never replicate it, but I swear it happened. No big deal as I have the spare key in my wallet.

I don't think he is updating because he is sitting outside waiting for the gas to run out. Its times like these I bet he wishes he had an H2, full tank, with idle. Probably run out in 30 minutes.

I was doing a search on this very subject looking for some answers.. I went into my garage yesterday to get into my Nismo.. I tried to unlock it using the key fob but it didnt work.. Dead battery? I just put new batteries in both.. Non the less.. So I got my spare and unlocked the doors and did what I needed to. Put BOTH sets of keys in the drawer with the car unlocked (took my truck).. I was getting my golf clubs together in the garage and I hear a clunk sound.. Check the Z and its locked up.. Lights did not flash (or at least i didnt see them) I go inside and get the fob and unlock.. Left it all day and it did not lock again.. Not sure this may be a problem he is having?? Anyone else have this issue? I understand the security feature with the chip but my keys were far away?

Another question... I do not like to carry a spare key in my wallet.. I would use a hide a key.. If I do not want to use the Valet key I am hearing that I cannot just get a key made anywhere?? Does that one also have a chip in it?

YOU are right, once your car is started, and you open the door and hit the LOCK button the doors will not lock, having ur keys in ignition, doors open and you manually trying to lock it... so HE didnt lock the car... the car locked it self...

im pretty sure the ONLY place where you can make a copy of the Z key is only dealer due to the chip inside the key... my buddy made a copy of the key once using the 3rd party places without chips, and it unlocked the car couple of times but he CANT start the car with that key.... im guessing due to not having the key programmed to ur car ??
