Default British magazin - CAR - 10 best performance cars - FINALY

Finally, there is good word out on the streets – or should I say earned recognition. I was quite surprised to find that British Car magazine has much better understanding of driver’s reality than Car and Driver or Road and Track or Consumer report.

Their criterion is simple – IT MUST BE FUN TO DRIVE THAT CAR….

Well, here is the list

[
10) Mini Cooper S works ( #11 is that new Bentley Continental GT – so you can imagine)
It says:
“The nifty six speed stick, the clink of the buttony clutch ….”

But among those lines 18000 pound sterling and then additional 3500 for S works – and no deliverance pass 90mph – its #10…

9) M3 – CSL
and they start:

“Why? Why try to make a skeleton racer when the stock M3 is a fantastic piece of machinery that has radio, air, etc. and CLS has none” – paints the picture already does it not…

Price 58000 pound sterling – 4.9 sec 0-62..

8)Mazda RX-8

“This is the easy car to jump into, drive and have fun with” – and as well they explain – main reason for #8 – no torque and some handling on curves..

Price 22000 pound sterling and 0-62 6.4 sec (LoL)

7) Golf R32

They said that it was not meant to be for R32 to make it into the top 10 – BUT – it is the car that grows on you – different from other turbo cars and tremendous handling – especially for average Jo going back home from work.

Price 22 595 pound sterling – 0-62 mph 6.6 sec

6) Z4 BMW
I actually think that they had argued between z350 and BMW for this spot but after clear rethinking – style and price and torque overcame. PRICE 31000 and 5.9 0-62

5) Z350 – Nissan coupe
Torque – Torque and more Torque – and as they say – “This is the car that pleases on all levels” – there is complaint that oversteering is possible on bumpy roads where suspension gives some kick back in handling (compared to BMW – they say BMW has better suspension) but PRICE SPEED AND TORQUE beat BMW to place 6 and Z gets numero 5..

Price 24000 pounds and 0-62 5.9 sec

4) Porsche GT3 911

is there anything to say to this – nothing in my vocabulary

Price 72750 pounds and 0-62 4.5 sec

3) Ferrari 360 challenge

2) Mitsubishi Evo FQ-300 (we know why)

AND YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS

#1 VAUXHALL 220 TURBO – OPEL

It says – its not for the price – its not for the speed – its not for the brakes – THIS CAR IS THE MOST FUN TO DRIVE

Price 25000 pound sterling – 0-62 4.9sec

There has been at least 5 threads about this.

And what is wrong with your font or syntax?

I beg to differ - rx-8 (without engine problems) is much better than TT for instance - let styling aside...

I get your point but the test was made on performance and response as well fun criteria. So Mazda is in the game. Engine troubles are whole different issue.
