yes, best was a 14.4 @ 104mph with a 2.44 60ft. i don't complain about the track as it was my 1st time out there but it was a horrible night. track officials had to stop runs constantly to dry it. i'm waiting for it to get a little warmer.....i can do 13s easily w/a better 60, just need to be able to put the power down without spinning. i went with a group of bmw's and a couple of 370s and a 370 that had already gone before had run a mid 13.5 and his best that night was a 14.1. Most if not all of the bmw's where high 12 to low 13 sec cars and where also doing 14s to high 13s. can't wait to go back

Well if I am so bad, how come I was beating a LS1 TransAm that same night at that track. He also had some mods done. I would say I was doing the good for the conditions of that night as he also was having issues.
I never denied the 370z owned the 350z DE/HR. But a modded HR can beat a stock 370z or lightly modded 370z too. They are very close in times.

I beat lightly modded domestic V8s all the time. That doesn't really mean much, trust me. With 1000 passes or so in my 350Z, I've beaten and have been beaten by pretty much everything.
I've spun through 1st and most of second and pulled 13.3-13.4 .........Didn't sfarrah run his 12.87 at a Dallas or San Antonio track. I've been to the track many times when there was 0 prep and temps were way colder than the TX boys have to worry about.....worst case it is a .2 diff from my best ET (in fact my 13.02 was in temps around 34 and the track had been closed for two weeks with heavy snow and rain completely washing the rubber off the track). If you have any skills you can cope with poor conditions and run fairly close.
+1 on the last sentence, although it depends on the actual delta of the DA.
I think you're confusing the non-revup vs revup debates. Most of the DE owners had no problem admitting that HRs are faster.

I just think it's funny that you guys are constantly trying to justify your crappy times. You could just admit that the drivers had something to do with the slow times.
BTW, the difference in track prep isn't going to affect your time .6 seconds. That just proves the 370Z driver is very inconsistent and probably inexperienced. And if you thought .6 second difference was the norm, you also fall into that category.
Keep in mind that a good drag racers are not just fast, but consistent.

i have no problem admitting the truth in any matter (unlike SOLO), but a crappy driver....i would say i am not. i did only 5 runs and tried everything to try and keep traction for the first 3 gears but always kicked out.... now 1st time with the 370 at a 1/4 track on a crappy night will not add up to some magnificent runs. as for the other 370 driver, i would say he knows what he is doing as well as all those bmw guys that typically run consistent high 12s to mid 13s and couldn't get close to those numbers that night.

I don't drag anymore anyways, I am a road racer and not a 1/4 person.

LOL. Unlike SOLO? I have nothing to admit. I said I didn't do good because I had no traction just like you are doing yourself and poor track prep. I admit when a driver error is the problem, it can be, but that night it was mainly track prep period.

I have a few more items to mod before I get back to the track. The tires I ran last time were actually hoosiers R6's and they are not great for the drag strip. Not making excuses, just a fact. With another 20 whp and some dr's I am hoping to better my old time.
I'd race a 370z for sure!!... but I wouldn't expect to win if he had similar mods and could drive. That's for sure! It comes with 20+ more ponies stock, weighs less and puts down the power better (squat). But I've been beaten by lesser cars so I'm sure my ego can take the hit.

but they aren't faster stock or slighly modded vs my 350z with the mods I had
At the SA Raceway, no stock or bolt-on 350Z has registered a time faster than the fastest STOCK 370z.
