So this years Alum Creek Meet is going to be at a different time of the year due to another event taking precedence. :lol: Instead of being a spring meet it will be a summer meet this year. It will be similar to past AC meets with one exception. We will not be going to Dave and Busters immediately afterwards. Instead we will be heading to Magic Mountain for some go karting to demonstrate the drifting techniques we learned from the F&F. This will be a C3G, 350Z, G35 and EvoX meet.

The meet will begin at noon at the beach area of Alum Creek State Park. There will be cornhole setup and a football/frisbee to throw around. Depending on interest I'll try to set up a car show for the 3G's or 350z's.

Somewhere in the area of 4-6pm we will head over to Magic Mountain for some go karts then off to BW-3s for dinner. After BW-3s we will head out to a local establishment that serves alcoholic beverages and proceed to do what the GLR does best. :cheers:

Sunday morning will be breakfast at Bob Evans for those that survive.

Please post up any questions or to sign up. Closer to the meet I will have a sign up for people to bring stuff to the cookout like we have in years past.

For those in town on Friday night we will practice what the GLR does best at a bar near my house.

I had fun last year, should be back again.

 

I'll be there, and seeing as it will be pretty nice out perhaps bring a volleyball for some sand volleyball? Maybe a dip in the lake?

ill be there! I just got another car and its a Red 2006 350ZR! Wifes car but shes taking some of my old parts and putting it on hers.

 

Well you'll have to learn to deal with it or don't show up as that was where I started and they had nothing but respect for the Z guys who showed up and I expect nothing less from the Z members toward the Eclipse members. After all we're all car enthusiast right?

 

i have a buddy who has a 4th gen eclipse and runs the same 1/4 mile i do (stock 04 z) 13.9

 

anybody from the cincy area want to meet up and cruise all together?

 

I will be there...this will be three years in a row. Hopefully I wont get a 4 inch piece a metal file in the tire like last year!

 

Over in the G35driver Ohio Representation thread we just had a meet in Cincy last weekend. There are some G35's from Cincy and now Louisville that it sounds like they are going to make it to this meet. You may want to try and hook up with them through the thread.

 

I'll have to throw this on my calendar and definitely try to make it out
