Default Double Din Fitment Help

Just bought the Pioneer AVH-2800, Screen display stands at 6.2 inches, Amazon says it would fit an 06' 350z.
Upon installing, the double din sits small, and there are gaps.

Any help with this? If the fix a dash kit?

All double-DINs are the same size. Get the dash kit - Metra seems to be the best fit for my '08, but I don't know if that's true for other years.

Thats the exact one i bought thats arriving soon.
Any help on how that thing works? From the picture on Amazon, it looks like im just grabbing the double din faceplate, and clipping it onto the front of the double din.

Correct. All you'll be using is the top part in the picture.

Leave the screws a bit loose on the radio brackets so you can adjust the depth just right. You're fitting a flat panel into a piece that's got a complex-curved surface, so all 4 edges won't match up perfectly. Adjust it until it looks good to you.
