Just wanted to drop a thank you to Chebosto for this nice write-up, I installed my Shine replica by myself and had glanced over this thread on multiple occasions before doing so.
I had two ratchet straps maintaining the diffuser as close as possible to where it would mount, and then was able to make measurements and the mark the drilling spot etc.
Luckily for me, and perhaps a good note for anyone else installing one, the OEM mudflaps holes were in the proper location for the first bolt of the bracket.
Here's a pic of how it sits now. Will be adding on Nismo rear addons eventually to complete the rear.

Do you know if the rear add ons fit without any modification to anything? Thinking about getting the TS diffuser (minus the vortex generators) and I have the nismo add ons already.
i have the rear bumper tucked. do i have to untuck it before installing this?
Yes I had mine tucked prior to install and the tuck needed to be put back to mount the diffuser properly. The shop made brackets behind the bumper where it was folded prior and you can't even tell.

I just received my rear add ons today and it looks like some trimming will be required for them to fit like I want them, but that may be because my diffuser is already on.
Great write up! I found it easier to mark the holes for the side brackets and take the bumper off to mount the front bracket then with the diffuser dangling so it clears the exhaust with the front bracket mounted slide the bumper with diffuser on and button up the side brackets and everything. Way less aggravating then trying to fit your arms and wrenches where they need to be. I don't have 18yr old skinny arms and jap Hands so this was way easy. Also the bumper tuck is what forced me to do this. If it wasn't tucked then I'd probably got it on without taking the bumper off. The tuck stays folded which sucks. Hard to bend back while trying to mount the bracket. Bumper takes 10-15 min to take off. You do have to cut the diffuser to fit an Ark exhaust. Had to noch it out with a Dremel. Cuts easy and doesn't crack. Can't be scared just man up and do it.
