Not much really. Replaced my clutch Monday. It was crying for mercy. Check and double check my suspension settings! I couldn't figure out why my car was pushing so bad since I left the suspension settings exactly the same as my practice run the week before. Somehow magically my front left damper walked it's way up to full stiff which I realized the day after the event! Real stupid rookie mistake not to check/notice at the track. I just assumed it was where I left it. Now I know better.

So the best I've done this year at TMP is 1:26.200. With a passenger. I need a lap timer.
270whp, JIC coilovers, Stillen sways, KAAZ diff, 3.9 gears, removed spare and tools, gutted hatch, 24lb Odyssey battery(-14lbs over stock). Volk CE28 with Falken FK452

That's a pretty good time on those tires if you ask me.
Better tires would drastically improve your times. If you have an iPhone or ipod touch, Harrys lap timer is as good as it gets for a budget latimer. The accuracy was bang vs the Cscs official latimer. If you have android you can try track master by trackaroo. I just got track master so I have no idea how to use it yet or how good it is.

Sweet thanks Tim. Ya I also feel like the tires are holding me back. The Falkens are almost done, the rears anyway. So I'm considering options.
I'm also going to have my suspension set up a little higher and a lil more aggressive alignment.
In the future...
-Brake cooling ducts
-Custom hood vents, and hood shims.
-Sparco seats
-Remove stereo
-Remove a/c
-Remove pile of garbage behind the seats. (plastic/metal)
-Aero
-LS3 w/ cam package
-BBK

Nice job Mike! That Z06 is serious without question and you ran head to head with him all day.
Huge thanks to Mike for riding along with me and offering his input. I was able to shave almost a second off my fastest time of the weekend. Finished with a time of 59.48.

Went to TMP yesterday to try to blow my car up. It has been burning quite a bit of oil lately. The car seemed to hold up surprisingly well. I think these laps are about as fast as my current skill lets me drive, so feedback welcome. Also sorry for the video's horrible quality, my phone has very small storage space.
Mods:
2006 g35 motordyne mrev2 art pipes xyz/w hfc fujitsubo midpipe back osiris tune. Quaife diff. Around 255whp/255wtq.
The car is full weight (has spare and tools) with a passenger, 285 hankook rs3 square and xp10/xp8 pads non brembo.
It was pretty hot and humid yesterday. Probably still around 25 at the time of these laps.
1:26.685
1:26.798
Following a drift car (really wish the quality was better haha):
My brakes still seem to fade pretty badly after several hard laps to the point where I start breaking early just because the first half of the peddle stroke seems to do nothing. Most noticeable in the turn before the kink (is that turn 6 or 7?).

Higher quality than my previous videos but trackmaster doesnt overlay data nicely or cut the lap videos with a lead in and lead out like harry's lap timer unfortunately. WTB harry's for android. Anyway it did give me average speed top speed and min speed for this lap. They were 137.15, 194.96, and 64.25.
