Doug is in his own little world... the little voices in his head keep telling him the RSX is like a ferrari and makes girls shiver for it...

Again, I state if the RSX was such a DOMINATE car as you portray it, then why did Acura pull it off production? Tell me doug, what do the little voices in your head say?

As for a pmohr stated, a rotary engine is cool with me in a RX body... if I were EVER were to do a engine swap... i wouldn't mind trying a LSX swap... that would be interesting... and no I wouldn't put a k20z1 engine in it... I wouldn't want to insult Nissan with such a degrading part.

wow 2 pages of crap talking..wtf happened??

Hey pmohr@Altered, do u know what the boxster, s2000, mr2-spyder, z3/z4,solstice/sky all have in common??

they wouldnt even be here if not for the miata...

i dont mean to sound overly defensive or offensive either..it just seems silly to say that the miata isnt a sports car when almost every major manufacturer started making roadsters again after its success...

and when u read a comparo...road test....auto mag review....they almost always compare it to some aspect of the miata whether mostly about handling characteristics or the gearbox....no not about power..but still..give some credit where it is due man

now can we get back on topic....instead of letting doug the 10th grader kill this thread

With the RSX being in U.S. production for 4 years (and yes, I know it's the re-vamped integ) is no comparison for a car that's been in production for 10+ years (which it was derived from the celica supra model)...

Production stopped for the Supra in the U.S. in 98 due to tougher emission standards in the U.S...

RSX in the other hand, was ceased due to marketability, where in which the Civic SI was preferred. Honda Civic SI > Acura RSX <= Honda Corp. views POS? possibly...

So one was forced to stop production and one was stopped because the company didn't think it would do any better than it's cheaper counter part.

So stop watching pokemon, and do your history homework... choose a better comparisons next time.

How sexy would that be..... AWD rb 350z ^^ now thats something different. just motor is for pansies lol j/p

only reason i say this is because if your planning on a 500+ hp build... lol RWD just spins in first and second... awd you would have much more useable power
if i'm correct function tune only made an automatic awd

As far as I know, Dave Shiroma basically threw a G35x (auto only) drivetrain into a 350z, and that was more so as a shop car/for bragging rights.

Some of you guys need to realize there is more to just finding the enigne you want and throwing it into the car. Im currently trying to get an lsx engine in my z fire wall needs cut, diff driveshaft, waterlines, its not just a throw it in and go once i start on my car. This winter it will take a good 6 months at least to do just to get it in and started then prob another couple to work out the bugs. im not trying to be a dick here but ohnestly im kinda tired of seeing all these people say there going to swap out the vq for a rb or vk. To me its becoming as abused as a girl on the corner.
