Thanks man honestly I like the mod I'm not gona lie the gears are a lot shorter id say overall a 40mph top speed drop end of 4th gear went from 176 to around 130 car is a lot more fun now gas mileage I can't really comment on ATM my car only got like 17 mpg anyways so it really didn't matter to me but who mods a car expecting gas mileage? But I do recommend this mod to any auto Z drives who want a lot quicker throttle response.

And I guess it also depends on your exhaust because I have the invidia Gemini and it's very quiet inside so the higher rpms on the high way doesn't really bother me.

Damn that revved quickly. Very cool! Congrats.
You just won't want to be going too fast on the freeways.

Idk I have beat all the manual Z's I have raced and the auto has the bump shifting thing so I really don't see a point in swapping.

This, and the valve body upgrade makes a huge difference. And I think auto is a little better for FI since the gear changes are faster, you stay within boost better.

That's the dumbest thing ever. Thousands of folks (myself included) have run aftermarket gears and lsd's with great success. Dad's 77 bronco has 4.10s and a locker on 35s and we have yet to break them. Snapped a ujoint but not the rear end. My 37s had 4.08s and last I heard it's still going strong.
