Running Hot
Just looking for a little advise car was running hot just starting doing this out of the blue, had thermostat replaced it was stilling running hot my mechanic thinks that it stuck causing all the problems, at the same time we just went and replaced radiator and new radiator hoses as well.
Still starts to go up to the H after about 10 miles of driving trying not to think the worse (blown head gasket or cracked head)my mechanic not capable of doing heavy engine work wondering should I take it to the dealership to check things out not to trusting with other mechanics on such a task like this were they could charge you the moon need some sound advise Thanks!

The issue may have originally been a failed thermostat, but now it may be something just as simple as air in the system. Proper filling it is a notoriously difficult task to get right, if you don't know the right procedure and have the right tools. Find the thread here called "Coolant purge nightmare". That's the logical starting point. If you continue to let the engine get that hot, you may indeed cause damage, so keep that in mind.
