Ok so I finally tackled this swap of my seats. The seats fit perfect in the coupe and the bolt pattern is exactly the same as the roadster. The only thing that does not work is the option to tilt the seat up or down on the passenger side but the ZR has this option. The coupe as you know has a quick manual release handle to tilt the passenger seat up or down. When we took out the ZR seats we had to tilt the seat forward and forgot to tilt them back down to remove the bolts on the rear of the seat. As of now I do not have any way to tilt the passenger seat back down other than taking the seat out and reconnecting it to the ZR and then using the power tilt to straighten the seat out. The seats are a little more difficult to remove and replace due to the headrest not being able to remove from the seat. We kept the electrical box under the ZR but maybe that is what I may need to use the power tilt back operation or maybe the proper harness to use the power option ( JASON any ideas on this ). Overall the hardest part was just reconnecting the wire harnesses back the way they came and comparing the differences from both wiring harnesses.....I will post pics when daylight arrives so you guys can see what the ventilated seats look like in a coupe and chime in ..........Ed

I'd love to see teh pics. That's too bad about the passenger side. I know all my friends who sit in my car adjust their seats. Having to put the seat back in a ZR to adjust the seat seems kind of painful. But hey, I've seen people put in racing seats that don't move at all so It can't be that bad.

Can't wait for the pictures!

EDIT: by the way, is the reason why you can't power tilt the seat is because it needs to be hooked up to a sensor that tells it if the top is up or down? If it works like a car DVD player where there is a sensor to stop the DVD player from playing any movie when the car is moving... couldn't you just ground that wire? That's what people do to get the DVD player to play while the car is moving.

I thought maybe the electrical box under the seat had something to do with it..damn I usually dont even adjust that seat so just having it move forward and back is good enough for me but I wonder if someone can wire something for that to work.

Wait till you see the lemans coupe with these roadster seats Zlleh ....too die for. I might just go outside and take some night shots so you can get the idea.....Should I

Damn right you should go take some night pictures! Like our Lemans, the paint has a more "luster" look at night, so maybe the seat will have that same quality.

Here is some shots but keep in mind I'm limited to any good angles due to my space and the fact that it is pitch dark outside
