i used the momo **** with threaded collar that the boot threads on to. i got the extended boot. i wrapped it AROUND the outside of the silver plastic ring, i prefer it that way than inside.

So, the stock plastic piece that shows the gear down by the shifter, is this piece still used, and hidden by the boot, or is it left off, and the boot tucked into/glued to the plastic ring?

yep, momo shifter same as everyone, works well and tight. plastic piece showing gear stays on, simply lift the alumi-look ring, pull the boot like a showercap over it, and then push piece back into place. this pic i just took quick, looks like po%p but you get the idea, looks much better in person.

i like it....might like the ring to show though

either way..thanks for the pic...meanwhile..i noticed someone mentioned that its hard to designate how much to push down the momo shifter

he said not to push down too much (many people want the short look) because it wont allow the button to work fully

is it hard to figure out or not really

i looked at it with the ring on the outside and decided it was just more visual noise. i do think it looks cleaner but in the case of my total blackout car, less is more and the organic thing resonates with me more, it just blends more seamlessly.

but i think for your silverstone the ring would look really nice. . .

not hard to figure out, kinda intuitive

Thanks for posting the pics, I did get the MOmo shiftboot but not the threaded one. It's got velcro instead. I used the leather string that came with it and wrap the end to the bottom or base of the ****.

why are you guys trying to make your automatic cars look like they are stick shift? I have an automatic, and im proud its an auto. For me, its way better (more practical, daily driver, more luxurious ride, etc). I dont get the purpose of this mod...

BTW, I have the momo kbob and momo boot and I cut the two fromnt tabs off the trim ring and I still cant get it to sit properly, the boot adds too much thickness, any suggestions?
