Yeah after looking at it where it is, I'd have to take out quite a bit of the support too close to the edge for my liking. This template works great on the DE hoods, but def needs modding for the HR. Thinking about taping up more space and just doing something completely custom so I can get the vents where I want 'em.

this hood my man... omfg. leave your oe hood alone :0 it never hurt you.

heh...

just don't think you're capable of doing wrong in general.

i know weber's other stuff was fail, but this isn't bad at all (minus a number of things)...

That looks really good, thanks for the link. I like the kick-up on the trailing edge. I'm looking at the Voltex, ASM, and MCR as well. My skills with cutting tools have never been that great so I'm not looking for this to turn out well...

^Nice one but for the price and wait time, MCR is the way to go!

Can't wait to see the results man! And I might have an HR hood for sale once my new ones come in.

Wanna sell me that ASM? Voltex has an HR hood that's pretty sweet that I've never seen on any other Z before. May look into that one.

Really digging the vertical vents on the AM. Might be something to consider in the future.

I'm still toying around with this idea...heres kinda how it'd look with the pdf file that was posted on here. Idunno, whaddya think? I think they would need to be bigger, maybe lower too Still not even sure I wanna do it.
EDIT: Yea, after looking at the pics on here, I think they definitely need to be bigger

I think a little lower and a tad bigger would look good.
