Mo--like everyone said: good luck with your build.. I was in the same boat you are now! Got the kit, and the top of the IC was smashed, just as bad as yours(almost in the same spot). The kit is just poorly packaged from Greddy! The box is soft cardboard and is worthless! The kicker is; Greddy packages all the plumbing in the box with the IC. Let see: Aluminum piping bouncing around with an aluiminum IC! They seem to just accpet that these will be returned for new ones. FYI--Need a new IC from Greddy? Back ordered from Japan. Need the IC and plumbing? 1,800.00!!
When my 2nd IC came, it also had very minor damage to it. I just gave up and accepted what I got.

I knew the darkside would pull you back in John. Is this another winter garage special? I'm sensing a central PA theme in the builds.

in for the final product!

also, looking at that packing there is no way it'll be protected. Packing peanuts?? really? Do they not think the intercooler will move around with that? What needs to be done is SOLID styrofoam on the top end of the intercooler on both sides of the mounting bracket so if it's dropped on that end the styrofoam will transfer the energy to the whole intercooler and not on the bracket. Simple fix. I don't know why that's so hard for them to figure out.

That's a sad excuse. When companies make a product, they decide the packaging. They might not DESIGN it, but they have to make a choice from whatever company they paid to design it. So ultimately it's still greddy's problem.

Hey Mo, out of all days our electricity went out for 2 hours! I still managed to package and ship out your intercooler just in time for UPS to pick it up. I hope this one arrives safe and sound. The tracking number is 1Z R3W 814 42 7116. Let me know when you receive it.

Thanks for all the support everyone, we are still going to carry Greddy Twin Turbo Kits, but the prices are going to vary depending on what kind of deal Greddy makes us.

errr.... I meant it to be sarcastic....(sometimes online sarcasim doesn't workout). I was making fun of greddy saying they can engineer complex car parts yet can't figure out card board and peanuts for packaging...
