Default Helix V2 cracked on me...need help pls

Well after 12k miles on these tp's its finally cracked on the base of the mounting brackets on both pipes. This is the the 3rd brand of tp's i tried and failed on me again just when i was about to buy some other mods for the Z this shiet happen again. So i was thinking on getting tp's with no mounting brackets on it but afraid it might just cracked on the weld joints(flanges) instead...so are there any solid tp's out there without breaking my bank? I'm not gonna put OEM cats back on either Some people suggested to buy those Megan HFC ones with flex joints on them or install solid motor mounts to prevent exhaust movement so what do you guys recommend? Thanks for all the help!

try a jic y pipe. its pricey but hella worth it. it flexes really good so the test pipes wont crack. and berk test pipes are really sturdy. ive had these on since 8 months and theyre still good. *knocks on wood*

Your exhaust is not lined up correctly if you've somehow managed to break your third set of tp's.

^ that helps reduce your hfc or converter weights, but for testpipe, you don't really need them, because tp is so light.

21,353 miles on my Helix SS Test Pipes . No problems (knock on wood).

Some members have better luck. Others worse. I would hate to think of replacing test pipes every 12,000 miles.

Well that's what the conversation is about. DRELOC 12,000 miles and me 21,000. The pipes are the same.

Just noticed, so the Z only has one O2 sensor per side? I know my 02 chevy has a total of 4 O2 sensors, one before the cat and one after the cat. Also was looking for some test pipes on ebay and noticed they only list for up to an 07 Z. Yet on the listing says its for the DE engine. My question is, will these Test pipes work on my 08 Z?

No. 2. One pre-catalytic converter sensor and one post-catalytic converter sensor.

Corner3 Garage... a very well known shop on here and the only one i trust. They told me the cracking might be due to the engine movement and led me to believe that my engine mounts might be bad I hope not but worst case scenario solid mounts are going in.
