Default How to get rid of eyelid tape residue
I purchased 06 350z and wondering how to get ride of eyelid tape residue without damaging the headlights. thanks in advance.

3M adhesive remover. Auto parts stores or body shop supply stores should have it.

3M works well. Still, test on an inconspicuous area first. Don't go whole hog on cleaning the light until you're certain that the chemical isn't going to screw up the plastic lens.

bug and tar remover works well. spray it on, let it sit... apply little heat if needed.

also works really good on wheel weight residue

Wd40 can also remove the sticky residue. Just wash the surface afterwards.

Lighter fluid works great on stubborn residue adhesive .

Tuttle wax sticker and label remover...works as good as 3m paint safe etc but it's only 5$ at wallmart
