Default testing solenoids

how would i test a nitrous solenoid to make sure its working before i go ahead and throw it on my car? could i just ground one side and slap the other on my battery?

use a fused tap though....you never know.

You should be able to hear/feel the solenoid fire.

Yeah, thats what I did, to test my fuel.

Everyone should keep in mind though, that nitrous solenoids are designed to have the nitrous cool them while they're opening. Opening them without nitrous running through them can damage them very quickly.

One cycle won't hurt though to verify fucntion. Yes you don't want it held open for a long time, but thats not testing anymore
