Hey guys'. Want to get some feedback on the guy's at Sonic Motorsports? Are they good with tuning our VQ Engines? or they specialize in Suby's Evo's and Turbo stuff? Might want to take my car thier to get dyno tuned? Would appreciate some feedback on them. or reccomend any other shops? Thnx.

 

Welcome to the forums. I personally haven't been to Sonics but a lot of the local guys on here who put out some big numbers were tuned by that shop. I believe they specialize in UTEC not sure about anything else...you would need to call and find out.

You also have the choice of going to Munky Wurks Garage. Sean, the owner of Munky Wurks is no doubt one of the most knowledgeable car enthusiasts on the island. He is the only tuner on island who is certified and capable of UpRev Osiris tuning. A lot of guys on here (including myself) were tuned by him.

So in all, it just depends what you're looking for; UTEC or Osiris. I assume you drive a Z or G?

 

Ask for seth. They are my recommendation no questions asked. You can try the others but in my opinion Seth and Robert know thier sheiiiiiiiiit. I wouldn't trust my Z anywhere else but in their hands. My Z is tuned so good as if came that way from Nissan. Give him a call. SonicZ33 is his handle on the forum.

If I knew back then what I know now, I would've taken my G to Seth. So yes, he knows what he's doing.

 

I'd take it to sonics also.

 

i was recently informed that seth at sonic is trying to steer away from utec. not that he cant do it or isnt any good cause im sure that he is but it was relized that the utec isnt all that good. and most are trying to go with the greddy system. i only say this cause i was there today talking with them. and i must add much mahalo to the guys at sonic for trying to help me with my problemed car lol ....
