UPDATED! Video Sneak Peak: Funtion:TUNED ?WD 350Z
Low Bandwidth Version
http://www.youtube.com/v/7HPv0yuM2SM
Higher Quality Video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjcME3lfkos
(And Yes Conversion is missing an R )
Well we are pretty confident that she'll be running in a week or to but here are some teaser picks. Once we are complete we'll be sure to drop put up some videos.
About to come out!
Hmmmm....Z33 Engine Subframe....and something else???
VQ35DE...with accessories???
Z33 missing its heart
Removing some excess components
Test fitting new brackets
Anyone see the new components?
On the ground to check clearances
We hope to have this project complete in the next week or two. We are waiting for some custom parts we are having made. I can't say we are the first but we are definetly the first with this driveline layout (edit: and this chassis)!

FF?
Not sure what you mean about first with this driveline. If you mean AWD, then it has already been done recently with the 240sx.
Can't wait to see the outcome though.

Oh thats cool, so its full G35x conversion for now. Thats cool. I wonder how the RB trans is compatability-wise. I would figure it would at least bolt to the block, but after that, who knows. You could at least ask a clutch manufacturer such as exedy or ATS if the RB trans input shaft is the same, that way you know if you are looking at custom clutches, etc.
My aunt has an AWD G35, I have been meaning to crawl around under it to check the subframe mounting point, etc. But it appears you have answered that question - it appears you have had remove the 350z subframe mounts and weld in G35x ones.
very cool, glad to see someone try it out. will you be able to use the factory rear driveshaft?
dont forget to make sure you have the same final drive ratio in the front and rear diffs!!!!
